Yes it's important what your recognition looks like. Yes it's important how big your recognition is. Yes it's important which materials your recognition is made of. Yes it's important how you list the names of your donors. However, the often missed element of turning a recognition into a highly successful recognition is placement. If it is hidden from your donors and potential donors all your best efforts can not make up for the unseen opportunity that a misplaced recognition produces. Having installed many donor recognitions I would offer two pieces of advice:
